About Us
"Our Philosophy"
Many years before I actually opened the doors of Great Life Tours, I had a
vision of contributing to the transformation of tourism in Hawaii.
While working for other companies, I often thought “if only they
would really put the customer first, there would still be enough
money for everyone, and the customer would have such a good experience,
they would tell others about Hawaii.” When I opened my business in 1995,
it became my mission to transform the heart of tourism in Hawaii, to one
filled with abundance and true Aloha Spirit.
What I do in that regard is :
1. Promote only the best tours based on my personal experience. I choose
the tours based on high quality, not on low net price.
2. Give presentations weekly, describing all the tours, followed by an appointment
with one of our vacation specialists. We assist our clients with anything they need from vacation planning and restaurant
recommendations, to helping them rent wheelchairs or getting their eyeglasses fixed.
3. We act as their concierge giving each person a free map and directions to anywhere on the island, circling points of interest.
We also loan out picnic baskets, coolers, beach mats, chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas.
4. We are open 365 days a year in order to meet the clients’ needs. This includes use of our fax machine for $1.00
and we will print the boarding passes for you for $2 each when the computers are available.
5. A dining card has been specially made which offers discounts of 2 for 1 (up to $28.00),
at 19 different NICE restaurants on Oahu and Maui.
6. Should one of our tour or cruise companies fall short of their promise,
I give it my full attention immediately, which promotes peace of mind for our visitors.
7. We have been able to negotiate special seating with the Polynesian Cultural Center.
This allows Great Life Tours clients a great view of the
stage from the center section, without paying the higher prices of the ambassador package.
8. We go the extra mile at Great Life Tours, taking the problems out of vacationing in Hawaii.
“No problem” is our standard response to whatever visitors ask of us.
We always look for what IS possible rather than focusing on what is not.
9. Our attitude of customer service and our Aloha Spirit are what set us apart from other
companies. We create a sense of ohana (family)
which causes people to return to our islands and to Great Life Tours, again and again.
With Sincere Aloha,
Ann
